Animal Reception Center (ARC) Repatriation

Repatriation measures are taken when specific events have happened, war, accident, invalid documents, and other circumstances. The ARC faciliates with assistance in returning animals to their original location. Service provided for the mininstry of agriculture, customs, airline and airports.

REPATRIATION

10 years in handling repatriations for the Swiss BVET Ministry of agriculture both for Imports and border CITES control.

The ARC main responsibilities

- Collecting animals from the tri-point and bringing them back to the ARC
- Checking animal(s) paperwork for entry compliance, PTS, CITES, TIERS
- Running the vet visit with the Swiss border vets
- Checking animal shipments are packed according to (IATA) requirements
- Providing temporary accommodation for animals in transit
- Upholding all EU and Swiss regulations relating to animal movement
- Returning flights to the country of provenance
